Braeside Farms Brewing Company is the culmination of 20 years of brewing experience. In 1993 co-owner Michael Menzies brewed his first batch of beer and soon their after, realized a microbrewery was in his future. In 1994 co-owner Arika Menzies, unaffiliated with Michael at that time, learned the microbrewing process from a collage friend. Understanding that all beer was not created in a large factory setting convinced Arika that fermentation was something she had to learn more about. Now, married and having run two successful small business together, the Menzies own, manage and run Braeside Farms Brewing Company.
